Big Darby trip was canceled due to low water.

Hocking River & Lake Logan Evening Paddle
Aug.6 & 7th. 2010

Camping Friday night & Saturday at Hocking Hills Canoe Livery , 12789 St. Rt. 664 South ,1/2 mile east of Rt. 33 . Behind Olde Dutch Restaurant. Camp site #1 Otter Run.

Saturday River Run 10:00 Am. Meet at Big Lot on Chieftain Dr. Logan O. Shuttle fee 1:oo per person. We will take out at bridge below livery for people not camping.

Saturday evening paddle ; meet at Lake Logan Beach parking lot . Put in time 8:30 PM.

ALL BOATS MUST HAVE LIGHTS ON FRONT & BACK (STATE LAW FOR NIGHT BOATING.)
must be seen by other boaters on the lake.

NO SATURDAY POT LUCK DINNER. Parking at camp site for campers only

No parking, take outs or put ins

Dwayne at Waters Edge canoe Livery has offered to give a discount to all SOFA
members. If you have to have 2 or more boats, You have to tell him you are a member
he will have a list

Mad River (Day Trip) Aug. 21
A challenging section of the MAD RIVER
Not good for new paddlers --- Need to know how to paddle
Moving water and paddle around obstacles NO SLEEPING
On this trip.
Meet 9:30 am at Enon exit and Mad River put in.
Shuttle 10:00 am.
Go to I – 70 West of Springfield Enon Exit 48 – don’t go to
Enon go the other way to river.
